Electronic_Publishing
Nowadays there are more forms of publishing, more ways in which information is put across to people via various mediums.

The more common forms of publishing are things like magazines, containing text, and images also newspapers and books.

Electronic publishing is the same as magazines and newspapers, etc however, it is done electronically. This form of publishing makes information more interactive and enjoyable to read and look at. The internet is a prime example of electronic publishing, this has information which is presented to people through text, images, as well as sound and movies.

E.g. Visit these websites for an example of electronic publishing (every website is more or less a form of electronic publishing).

www.mirror.co.uk

Multimedia CD-ROMs are also a form of electronic publishing, as such CD-ROMs contain information which come in forms of text, graphics and sounds. Encyclopaedias and children's story books, as well as many others come in a multimedia CD-ROM. The Encarta encyclopaedia series contains text, images, sounds and movies all to which make it more interactive and enjoyable to use, electronic publishing is rapidly increasing.

Having something electronically published seems more better, as having a normal book containing text and images is not as enjoyable and interactive as something like a multimedia CD-ROM for example.
